Ocean State Performance is operated in an impressive 20,000 square foot facility located in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.  The site is conveniently located just 12 miles south of TF Green airport right off of Route 403 in the former U.S. Navy warehouse complex on Compass Circle in West Davisville.

The ultimate goal at OSP is to offer our customers a full service facility that can do most every operation in house. This way of doing business is a “win/win” situation for our customers and OSP.

We’ve all heard too many stories of people having to transport their vehicle back and forth between shops only to be left with no recourse in the event of a problem, as the different shops point fingers at each other.

At OSP that concern is a thing of that past. We use only the best proven parts and methods to ensure that the job is done right the first time and if there ever is a problem we stand behind our work 110%. No excuses, no finger pointing.

The highly skilled technicians at OSP are dedicated to producing only the best in high performance vehicles.  Meticulous attention to detail is spent on each and every racing and street powerhouse that OSP builds, ensuring that when you turn the key you will be more than satisfied.

Within the walls of the OSP facility are five state of the art lifts, a full service engine machine shop, a separate “clean room” for engine and transmission assembly, a complete custom fabrication shop with several Bridgeport milling machines / lathes / etc., a wiring and plumbing service area, and our very own 1750 horsepower capable, fully interfaced, MD Chassis Dynamometer designed to measure the true power of our creations. We even offer enclosed transport for you vehicle to & from OSP when needed.

As a compliment to our MD 1750 chassis dyno, OSP offers full service tuning of all types of engine & driveline management systems. Using Diablosport custom tuning software OSP can create a truly custom tune for you late model fuel injected Ford or GM vehicle. In addition we are experienced in custom tuning with aftermarket “stand alone” EFI systems such as F.A.S.T, Accel DFI, Big Stuff, EFI Technologies, Edelbrock ProFlow, and Ford EPEC among others. The classic and muscle car crowd shouldn’t feel left out either when it comes to dyno tuning. OSP combines the “old school” experience of 30+ years tuning carburetors and adjusting distributor advance curves with newer technologies like wide band oxygen sensors and datalogging to get that perfect tune-up up for your classis or muscle car.

The newest addition to OSP menu of services is a full service chassis fabrication & welding shop housed with-in the OSP facility. The chassis and welding shop is being set-up with its own 2500 sg. ft. enclosed space, keeping the inevitable dust and grinding debris separated from the rest of the shop. The new chassis & welding shop will allow us to expand on the current custom fabrication that we already offer with the capability to build not only custom chassis and suspension systems but also create custom aluminum radiators, intercoolers and plumbing, fuel & water tanks, and even tubular headers & exhaust systems all in house. Our certified welders are familiar with all types of materials from 4130 chrome moly steel to aluminum, stainless steel, and more. 

OSP boasts a very safe and secure indoor storage area for all of our customers’ vehicles. Every vehicle that OSP works on stays inside of in our heated, alarmed, sprinkler protected facility for the duration of the project. You never have to ask the question “Will my vehicle be safe outside?”
  

OSP also maintains a strong presence in drag racing and we are quite proud of our work with some of the fastest heads-up drag cars in the county. From Jason Enos’s 10.5W tire ’66 Chevy II NMCA Super Street car, one of the fastest 632 ci. nitrous 10.5 cars in the country with a best of 7.25 @ 193 mph, to Mike Young’s NMRA SSO style Procharger blown Mustang with a best of 7.40 @ 188 and 4.82 in the 1/8 (on 28 x 10.5’s @ 3250 lbs) we have what it takes to put you at the head of the pack. We continually testing different combinations and chassis set-up’s designed to get your car to the finish line first.

Just so you don’t get the wrong impression, it’s not all race cars here at Ocean State Performance. OSP is proud to service all types of street performance vehicles.  Be it classic cars, muscle cars, kit / component cars, diesel pick-ups, Mustangs, Corvettes, Vipers or SUV’s, we can build to suit and service them all, we’ve even worked on boats and watercraft.

OSP is a dealer for a number of the major manufacturers throughout the country and it seems that we’re adding more every day.
